Music: Shelburne Reel

Formation: Six couples (or less) in a contra set, all the men in a line on the caller's right, all the ladies in a line on the caller's left.

Counts ACTIONS and EXPLANATIONS

1 - 8 EVERYBODY GO FORWARD AND BACK With hands joined in each long line, dancers advance 3 steps, clapping both hands (once) with partner on the 4th count. Dancers then retire, hands joined in long lines, 3 steps and then release hands and clap own hands (twice) on the 8th count.

9- 16 ALL PASS THRU AND TURN ALONE All cross over to other side, passing right shoulders with partner, and, completing the turn to face partner on the 6th count, clap own hands three times on counts 15 and 16,

17-24 EVERYBODY GO FORWARD AND BACK Repeat l-8.

25-32 ALL PASS THRU AND TURN ALONE Repeat 9-16.

33-40 TOP COUPLE SLIDE DOWN, OTHERS ARCH Top couple, both hands joined chasse to foot, immediately man backs out so that he can slide up the outside on the next action. (As the active dancers slide down, others should move one position toward the top.)

41-48 LADY UP INSIDE, MAN UP OUTSIDE- Active dancers slide back to top, lady inside the tunnel, man outside; lady backs out and man moves in to dance the next action.

49-56 MAN DOWN INSIDE, LADY DOWN OUTSIDE,

57-64 EVERYBODY SWING.
